Elite Volleyball Performance was born out of a deep obsession: not just with sports performance — but with truth.

Over the years, I studied everything from aerospace engineering to biomedical engineering to kinesiology.

I learned how to break down complex systems, analyze movement, and understand the mechanics of the human body from the inside out.

But even in all those classrooms, something was missing.

I was searching for an education beyond the textbooks — the kind that couldn’t be graded or standardized.

I trained and began my coaching career at CPA Setter | Hitter | Libero College, where I was personally mentored by 2x NCAA D1 Champion Chris Austin.

Under Chris’ guidance, I learned how to break down and teach the true fundamentals of volleyball — not just technique, but the subtle mechanics that separate good from great.

In private sessions, group settings, and high-intensity camps, I worked directly with youth athletes, learning how to coach:

Mentality – playing with poise, presence, and resilience

Leadership – owning your voice and guiding the team

Volleyball IQ – understanding timing, flow, and decision-making

That foundation helped me bridge the gap between movement science and real-time performance.

Because knowing how to move is one thing —

Knowing when, why, and with what energy? That’s elite.

My passion then led me to Hollywood Vocal Studios Conservatory, where I studied vocal performance, songwriting, and the heart of the artist.

I performed again and again. I watched my classmates pour their souls into their songs. And what struck me most was this:

There is no difference between a great athlete and a great performer.

Both use their body as an instrument. Both need presence, rhythm, expression, and heart.

Even with all the technical understanding in the world, performance without heart falls flat.

That’s why at EVP, we go beyond biomechanics.

I train with an ear tuned to what you feel — to what you desire, to what’s blocking you, and to what wants to come alive.
